audreysquarrypersonally, July is starting to feel like the calm before the storm; those fleeting moments of peace right before pandora's box is finally opened. why you may ask? well for one it's the month that immediately precedes August! and as we all know, many exciting things are on the way :3 (mainly dream anniv + markmin birth + rv coming back to save the rest of the year <3)
now, to say that I have a markmin brain rot would be an understatement. I've succumbed to the reality that they ARE my brain at this point. so (surprise surprise) most if not all the fics I'm planning to post in August will inevitably be about the loml <3 ++ a quick look at the one fic I have planned fer September so far :3

tbh, I wrote this post mainly to keep myself accountable :,)) if i were left to my own devices, I'd rather sift through thousands of possible dreamwidth layouts instead of writing. so in the off chance that someone does read this, feel free to scream at me on twt if none of them fics go up? hahaha!!

- somewhere in between - this fic is basically my markmin thesis in disguise so by extension, it's also the one I'm scared of writing the most ;-; cus if u ask me part of what makes their dynamix so interesting is half of the time I can't figure out wtf is going on. this feeling of frustrating ambiguity is something I hope to translate into the story hehehe! rn, i feel loike it's going to be at most 15k? could be shorter depending on how long these two idiots plan to run circles around each other (spoiler alert: I know have vertigo, and yes they're still going, yezus)
- carousel casualties - 5k+ words of pure markmin fluff <3. literally just two leos getting stranded in an airport and doing stupid romantic shiz to pass the time. (author markly and dr njm make an appearance so there's that to look forward to :3)
- nct rare pair summer fic - I refuse to be a bystander knowing that the marksung tag is gathering dust on ao3. loike they have so much potential as two dudes who are literally text book definitions of main protags in a coming of age movie. but going back -> nothing's set in stone yet but so far I do have marine scientist/ diver mark teaching pure boy jisung how to swim in the ocean <3 they're both vv adorable and am excited to see how their relationship plays out in the story later on :3
